During our stay at a guest house in Haputale, the host was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. He even picked us up from the train station, which was a nice touch. He had great knowledge of the area and provided us with valuable recommendations for activities and hikes. We were also impressed by his flexibility and willingness to accommodate our specific needs, such as adjusting breakfast times and even going out late to get snacks for our early trek the next day. we had a pleasant experience staying at this guest house.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. the toilet was not in great condition, and we felt it could have been cleaner.

The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a great space for relaxation during our romantic escape. The location of the hotel was also perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings and take in the stunning views. the breakfast provided by the hotel was absolutely delicious, adding a special touch to our mornings.
This took away from the overall comfort of our stay and affected our ability to fully enjoy the room. We also noticed an abundance of creatures in the area due to the hotel's proximity to the hills, which made the surroundings less appealing.

Service is top-notch with a friendly and welcoming owner. the delicious food is served in a large dining room, ideal for socializing with other guests. the hotel offers a van for local attractions, including Lipton's Seat at sunrise.
One aspect of the hotel was disappointing, such as the poor water pressure for showers in some of the rooms.
